America Recycles Day is a nationally-recognized day that celebrates and promotes recycling in the U.S and falls on November 15th. On this day, people are encouraged to spread the word about the benefits of recycling and to practice recycling themselves. So be sure to find a recycling program near you so that you can recycle that trash instead of dumping it the trash to fill up yet another landfill.

Recycling not only saves space in landfills, reuses important resources and saves energy but it also prevents the needless destruction of many aquatic animal species and helps in the fight against global warming.
